The space includes two beautifully crafted yurts—one for restful sleep, the other for slow, nourishing meals—nestled in a secluded glade with sweeping views of rolling meadows and the majestic Black Mountains as your backdrop.
Here, you’re invited to breathe deeply, move at nature’s pace, and feel grounded by the elements that surround you. Life slows down in the best possible way. As day fades into night, soak under the stars in your private, wood-fired outdoor bath. It’s quiet, it’s soulful, and it’s all yours—a restorative escape you’ll carry with you long after you leave.
Escape Reality
You might just spot a barn owl gliding over the meadow at dusk, or simply lose yourself in the chorus of tawny owls as you settle down for the night. Wrapped up in our soft bamboo bedding, thick natural mattresses, and cosy sheepskin blankets, you’ll feel perfectly snug beneath the stars. Maybe you’ll pick a book from the shelf and unwind by the roaring fire with a big mug of hot chocolate in hand. Whatever your choice, Gabriel’s Glade is a genuine escape—a place where the noise of everyday life simply fades away.
Things to know
All our accommodation is off-grid, so get ready for a back-to-basics experience—no mains electricity here. Lighting comes from solar power, and there’s no Wi-Fi, giving you the chance to fully unplug and breathe. That said, there’s excellent 4G coverage if you need to stay connected.
The kitchen yurt is thoughtfully equipped so you can enjoy cooking at your own pace. You’ll find a double gas ring stove, a kitchen table, and a sink with hot water. We provide some essentials like tea, coffee, and cooking oil, plus there’s an outdoor BBQ area for when you want to cook under the open sky. Just remember to bring anything else you might need, as the nearest shops are about a 10-minute drive away.
To keep you warm and cosy, we’ll supply a basket of wood for the fire and hot tub, along with natural fire lighters. But don’t forget to pack for chilly weather—you’ll want to make the most of your magical nights under the stars.
