Mimi’s Tree Yurt is rustic luxury at its best, a truly original glamping experience. A large luxurious Turkomen yurt with attached round-wood cabin providing your kitchen and bathroom facilities, your stay at Mimi’s will connect you back to nature, providing the perfect setting for a digital detox or romantic get away.
For the more adventurous of guests you will embrace the elements and enjoy an exhilarating outdoor showering experience whilst taking in the sweeping views across the valley to the Skirrid and the Black Mountains beyond.
Welcome to Paradise
Outside is your own private garden with firepit, the perfect spot to gaze at the milky way. As we create a living productive landscape on Goytree farm, we will be adding to the already diverse tree crops. Help yourself to the apples already growing and in a few years to the cob nuts, almonds, hazelnuts and walnuts as we develop the food forest around Mimi’s.
Our bamboo bedding, thick natural mattresses and sheepskin blankets are sure to keep you warm as you snuggle under the stars, listening to a cacophony of owls. Or maybe you will pick a book from the shelf and snuggle by the roaring fire with a big mug of hot chocolate.
Things to know
All of our accommodation is off-grid so be prepared for a ‘back-to-basics’ experience with no mains electricity. The lighting is solar powered, and we have no Wi-Fi.
The kitchen is well equipped allowing you to wine and dine yourselves. There is a gas stove, table and sink with hot water. We provide some of the basics which include tea, coffee and oil and there is also an outdoor BBQ area. But do come prepared as the nearest shops are over 10 minutes drive away.
We will provide a basket of wood for the fire and some natural fire lighters to ensure you stay warm but please do pack for cold weather to ensure you get the most from your nights under canvas.
