Inside, a handcrafted wooden spiral staircase leads you to a raised sleeping platform where you’ll drift off surrounded by trees, with the stars above and the gentle rustle of leaves all around. At night, nestle into bamboo-soft bedding, thick natural mattresses, and layers of sheepskin warmth as the sounds of owls echo gently through the branches. Or maybe you’ll curl up by the crackling fire with a good book and a big mug of hot chocolate. Crafted by a shipbuilder and inspired by traditional natural building methods from around the world, Bee’s Bower is more than just a place to stay—it’s an experience. With its unique blend of canvas, cob, and roundwood, the space feels both grounding and otherworldly. Nestled gently among the trees at the far edge of our farm, you’ll walk through wildflower meadows and along quiet woodland paths before arriving at your own private hideaway, overlooking a secluded wooded valley.

Things to know
Bee’s Bower, like all our spaces, is completely off-grid. Lighting is powered by solar, and there’s no Wi-Fi—so you can truly switch off. That said, there’s excellent 4G coverage if you need to stay connected. Most of our farm runs on renewable energy, but the Bower includes a gas boiler to ensure your bath and shower are always hot and ready for you.
The kitchen is well-equipped for relaxed, home-style cooking, and we provide a few essentials like tea, coffee, and oil. Outside, you’ll find a BBQ area perfect for cooking under the open sky. We’ll also provide a basket of firewood and natural firelighters to keep things cosy throughout your stay.
